Crafting compelling web copy with a personal voice for a business productivity specialist
Alluxi Consulting was a start-up, with a website being designed by Lemon Creative. The Founder and Director, Linda Garcia, had already worked with another writer to create draft copy, but something wasn’t quite right. Her own voice was missing, and she wanted to work with someone who could enable her own distinctive personality and approach to shine through – as this was a vital element in the success she created for her clients.
What we did
Through a series of Skype meetings (as we were, at that point, on different continents), we worked with Linda to review and reshape her copy, ensuring that her clarity of thought and no-jargon approach were reflected in her web copy.
- Working to a pre-defined web structure – the Alluxi site was already designed, so we worked within a strict set of parameters
- Editing existing copy – we took the previous draft, identified the vital elements, and rewrote it so that it sounded more like the client’s own voice
